My attraction to “Main Street” Businesses started early resulting in the start of my first full-time business in 1970.
My experiences include, starting, building, managing, fixing, selling and buying businesses for myself and others through SCORE and my Business Brokerage roles. I sold my first business in 2010 and enjoy helping small business owners and entrepreneurs realize their dreams.
I have had extensive business brokerage training & experience from two national business broker franchises that I worked for. My training/certifications includes SBA/SCORE Certified Mentor, American Business Brokers Association (ABBA) where I received an ABI Accredited Business Intermediary certification, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), GGMC as a Certified Mediator and International Franchise Professional Group. I participate in classes on a regular basis to keep my knowledge base current and my network renewed.
I maintain an Arkansas State Real Estate License enabling me to package real estate with any business sale transaction and have built a large network of Business Brokers, Commercial Lenders, SBA Lenders and Business Buyers over the years.
I work well with a diversity of personalities and try to encourage everyone to be respectful, reasonable, honest and transparent….. Ethics, Integrity and Fairness are critical aspects of any transaction I am involved in. My training and experience as a Certified Mediator help when negotiations or problems arise.
I maintain active memberships in Fayetteville, Springdale and Bentonville-Bella Vista Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, Elks and various committees’ civic organizations throughout the area.
My home town is Chicago which I left in 2011 to move to Fayetteville Arkansas. My mother was born in Biscoe, Arkansas and I have family on my mother’s side scattered throughout Pope County. My greatest personal joys come from my three children, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sailing, fishing, hiking, road trips and photography provide the balance in my life.
